As early as 1942, the Material Division of the US Army Air Forces was seeking an alternative material to Sheepskin, for producing flight suits. By October of the same year, development had begun at Wright Field on the Intermediate Flight Jacket, Type B-10. Soon after, the B-15 was developed and continued in service through WWII to the 1950’s. Featuring the squadron patch of Joe Kennedys USAAF 383rd Fighter group who were based in England and flew B-24 Liberators from RAF Fersfield. 100% accurate replica of an original in every capacity.
